This gem has very good clarity with only minimal inclusions, none of which are dark or obtrusive. without magnification the stone is close to eye clean. It is above average size for this type of garnet being over half a carat and will make a stunning solitaire when set. These garnets are like an emerald on steroids, the vibrant green hue really packs a punch. I sourced the rough stone directly from a Kenyan miner and personally cut it at my home in North Eastern Scotland. Only the miner and myself have ever touched the stone.
