The scale of each digit is 1 to 9 The first digit tells the deepness of the green(the higher the number, deeper the green, 1 being the lightest and 9 being the deepest green), the second digit depicts the purity and lustre of the stone, (1-4 containing no lustre and plenty inclusions, the higher the number more light and fire in the stone) and the last digit depicts the inclusions and cracks, the higher the number, lesser the inclusions in the piece.
